| Anynody that owns a Gamo knows that these are great guns, minus the trigger. The triggers on these things are enough to make someone go for the cheaper sort. If you have a good rest and a patient finger, you can pull off some good groups with it how it is, but we all know that isn't always going to be the case when dealing with varmints. There are a couple things we can do about this, fortunately. One of them is that we can shorten the length of pull by turning the adjusment screw clockwise. This helps a bit, but still doesn't get the trigger as good as we would like it. Another option is to go with an aftermarket trigger. The only one that I have heard of is the GRT III trigger made by CHarlieDaTuna. I personally don't have this trigger, but I have read plenty of reviews and spoke with several people who have this trigger, and it seems to be the ticket. You can find one here: http://charliedatuna.com/GRT-III%20Trigger%20New.htmI plan on getting one of these relatively soon, and when I do I will produce a good review. | |
