I hate these things

I usually blast these things with my Gamo air rifle to pass the time. Obviously this isn't the most effective technique, but it helps a little and it's fun as can be. What do you do? What are your favorite techniques?

We trap them and use them to train pointing dogs.

That's a good idea there, may as well get some use out of them.

When I was younger, I used to throw bread into the street and let oncoming traffic take care of them. But after a high school trip to Washington D.C., where I dispatched about fifty pigeons with this method with one piece of bread, one of my teachers and a local police officer explained to me why this was not a good or safe thing to do. Needless to say I do not use nor do I condone this method any longer.

Maybe I can think of a safer way to eliminate several pigeons at one time. Perhaps something involving mayonnaise.

Thanx to these creatures I got my bycicle stolen when I was about 9 years old.
Me and my friends were hunting with sling shots that we had made to kill these creatures and all of a sudden, while we were distracted someone got on my bycicle and stole it.

See, pigeons cause all sorts of problems! Did you have much success with the slingshots?
