I have seen on other sites where they just throw the squirrels out in the road to become squirrel pancakes. Might work in the country, but if somebody were to see that the thing was shot or something it might become a problem.

I wouldn't say this is a good idea. Though it might look like it was natural, dead rodents scattered in the road seems like a bit of a health hazard.
